11 dead in Kolofata suicide bomb attack

At least 11 persons have died and 30 others severely injured following a suicide Bomb attack in Kolofata, Far North region of Cameroon. 
The blast occurred in the early hours of Friday June 2, 2017, when two suicide bombers infiltrated into a camp built for internal displaced persons, CNA report.
At the time of the incident, Muslim faithful were reportedly preparing for morning prayers, when the two suicide bombers who gained access into the camp by pretending to be beggars detonated bomb.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but many believe it was carried out by the Boko Haram terrorist group which has been terrorising the far North region of Cameroon, as well as Northern Nigeria.
