Various communities from the six countries that make up the CEMAC subregion, have been in full spectacle with displays from dance groups at the Nsimalen International Airport this Thursday.
Each group awaits the arrival of their president to give them a grandiose welcome.
The President of the Transitional Government in Chad, Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, was the first to arrive at the Yaounde International Airport, followed by the President of Gabon Ali Bongo.
Cameroon’s Prime Minister Chief Dion Ngute, has been receiving the State dignitaries, who continue to the Hilton Hotel where they are being lodged ahead of the March 17 event.
Friday’s conference will address major challenges within the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC).
