The head coach of Ghanaian football club Asante Kotoko, Steve Polack, paid a visit on crutches to the clubs training center for the first time since sustaining an injury following a car accident with the team earlier this month.
His visit aimed at motivating his players as they continue training ahead of their upcoming match against Accra Hearts of Oak.
Polack has been absent since the team got involved in a car accident while returning from a game in Accra, and has been recovering from leg injuries with the use of crutches.
According to the club’s official website, Polack turned up “…sporting a white Goil-branded polo shirt over black training pant, and walking with the aid of crutches.
“Coach Polack addressed his players and rest of the technical team. He urged them to look beyond what befell the team a fortnight ago and get ready for a strong comeback”, a statement in the club’s website read.
Kotoko are set to take on archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak in Kumasi next Sunday, in an outstanding Ghanaian Premier League game which was postponed due to their accident.
