The Cameroon Football Federation has set the minimum amounts to be paid to coaches and players of the Elite One, Elite Two and Guinness Super League for the 2023-2024 season.
According to the document signed by the FECAFOOT Secretary-General, Blaise Djounang on August 29, all Elite One players will receive a minimum of 200,000 FCFA per month, same as prescribed the previous season.
Elite Two players will be paid not less than 75,000 FCFA, while players in the Guinness Super League get a minimum of 50,000 FCFA.
Coaches will be paid 250,000 FCFA in the Elite One, and 150,000 FCFA in the second division.
During the last season, not all players could attest to being paid every month as required by FECAFOOT. The clubs concerned, UMS Loum one of them, said the federation failed to pay complete subventions to clubs.
