55 years ago, English CMR voted to join French CMR. If it was today, would the reactions have been different? Anglophones speak out!

So let me take us back through time. On the 1st of October 1961, Southern Cameroons, which was the Southern part of the British area of jurisdiction in Cameroon had a choice to either join the Northern part which was ruled by France, or Nigeria. The leaders at the time voted to join The Northern part, which was then known as La Republique du Cameroun.
