The Tournament Manager of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, Dissake Mbarga Michel, has released a communique informing the public that applications are open for persons who want to serve as volunteers, of the upcoming continental competition in Cameroon.
The document which was made public on Monday 8 November, indicated that interested persons could already start forwarding their applications.
“The Director of Tournament informs the National and International public that the launching of the selection of volunteers of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, is effective from Monday 8 November 2021” an excerpt of the communique reads.
It is further stated that “candidates who wish to apply, have to be of Cameroonian or foreign Nationality, aged at least 18 years, and fulfill the conditions required in the registration form online, using the link; http://minsep.cm/volontaires-can”.
Registration is scheduled to end on 18 November 2021. Meantime, the Local Organizing Committee (COCAN), is equally working on finalizing preparation, in other domains ahead of the AFCON which begins on January 9, 2022.
