The catholic Bishops in the English speaking regions of Cameroon held a meeting in Fiango Kumba, yesterday 24th August, where they call on the public(southern cameroon activists against school resumption) to decease from violence and threats related to school resumption, and let children go back to school. They however say that this decision does not rule out the anglophone problem. They are still advocating for the release of those affected and inclusive dialogue, but they welcome the idea of school resumption this September. Read full statement below:
