Arrey
Etang Egbe aka Arré
was born on a certain Friday, the 30th of November 1990 to Mr. Richard Arrey
and his wife Becky in a hospital in Mamfe, the South West region of Cameroon.
Due to the nature of his father’s job, he went through his nursery and primary
school in three different cities; Mamfe, Muyuka and Kumba. The trend continued
as he advanced in secondary school, causing him to move from kumba, to Buea and
then to Yaounde. Travelling and briefly settling in all this places during his
childhood has properly rooted him in the Cameroonian urban culture. He is
currently studying Computer Science in the University of Buea.

Career
In
all this, music has been a constant in his life. His passion for poetry and art
found a voice in music. He started writing songs at the age of 16
and he has never stopped writing from that time. He started doing music
professionally in 2008. Since then he has worked in several music projects and
the output is a whole catalogue of singles to his name.

this time, he has attained a certain level of maturity and lyrical prowess. His
music is built around a seductive and captivating sound. Arré is a very versatile
artist, his music cuts across RnB, afro-pop and Rap. He is able to convey
contagious emotions through his music. Emotions like falling in love and being
merry.

has recorded a couple of highlights in his career. One of the most significant
ones is his participation in ‘MTN make the Music contest’ in 2014 where he
emerged as the 4th runner up of the competition. He has also
lightened several stages with his blazing performances over the years.

the label titled ‘Love won’t take much time’ featuring Tzy Panchak of Best
