Ghanaian international Asamoah Gyan has filed for a divorce after being married or at least 5 years.
Uncertain if he is the true father of his 3 children, the former Sunderland striker filed to divorce his wife Gifty Gyan, at the Divorce and Matrimonial Division of the High Court in Accra.
According to reports circulating on various Ghanaian media outlets, Gyan has denied being the biological father of their three children and has also demanded a DNA test.
Gyan and his wife have not had it easy in the past few months and the Black Stars skipper thinks it’s time to part ways.

Ghanaian media outlets also report that Asamoah Gyan wouldn’t waste time getting another wife, as he is planning to marry a certain Accra-based business-woman once his divorce with Gifty Gyan is finalised by the Court.
Gyan has been highly linked with the wealthy business woman Nina Atala, and his wife Gifty Gyan is the only person standing on their way.
Both have been spotted several times with the woman mistaken in several instances as Gyan’s wife. She was even announced as the wife of Asamoah Gyan when the footballer opened his new sports bar located in Osu, Accra.
