Assistant Lecturer at the University of Buea goes on hunger strike!

Charly Ringnyu Nyugap, a visually impaired(blind) assistant lecturer & PhD Candidate at the University of Buea goes on sit-down hunger strike on the University of Buea campus indefinitely, from yesterday, July 6th, in protest against the infringement of his disability and the intransigent behaviour of the former vice chancellor of the university; Prof Nalova Lyonga and two of her collaborators towards his tuition fee exemption, a right he has, as a disabled(blind) student. He claims that they are using students with disabilities to raise money for those with abilities. Read his letter below which outlines all the reasons why he is going on the hunger strike:
