International music star Black Coffee went back to his childhood school, Zimele High school, to make a generous donation of R200 000 to revamp the computer room.
Black Coffee took time out giving back to his community and also addressed pupils during assembly and he said: “I think the whole idea, as we grow as a country, as a nation, is to change our circumstances that abantu [people] who are coming behind us don’t experience the same things that we experienced. It starts with our families, with our kids, it starts with the schools that we went to. One of the reasons I agreed to do this thing was because I didn’t want you guys to experience the thing, I wanted you guys to have better opportunities.”
