Boy murdered by Gendarme in Kumbo laid to rest on Wednesday

The mortal remains of a young boy who was murdered by a Gendarme officer earlier this month in Kumbo, has been laid to rest.
Sevidzem Cyprian, 16, was shot dead on Monday 4th September, 2017 by a Gendarme officer during an anti Marijuana raid in Kifem village
His funeral service was held at Presbyterian Church, PCC Kumbo, in Bui division North West region of Cameroon, where family members, Christians and the population of Kumbo were in tears as they bid farewell to a teenager whose life on earth was prematurely ended by a gendarme officer.
Prior to his burial, there was tension at the church compound as youths demanded that the boy’s coffin be opened for viewing, which the family after hesitating approved.
Cyprian was later buried at the Presbyterian Church cemetery in Jem, Kumbo.
