“The vaccine is and remains the only way of not only slowing down the pandemic, but in the long term, providing immunity to the population” the Communication Minister stated.
Health Minister Manaouda Malachi, has also added that persons aged from 18 and above are eligible to take the vaccine. He went further to clarify that “however some people suffering from pre-existing health conditions like diabetes and hypertension may not take the vaccine” Public Health Minister.
The Campaign is taking place in 244 vaccination centers across the country. During the four days set aside for the activities, over 500 vaccination teams are carrying out door-to-door sensitization and vaccination.
All persons interested in receiving their vaccines are encouraged to visit the vaccination or health centers where the teams are administering the vaccines.
