After having a street banger; Chorkoh, Banye aka Donbansoman, was absent from the scene for a very long time till he made his comeback with two new videos; a remake of Chorkoh and Day I Die.

We hosted him on a Tweet Chat via our Twitter account (@beta_tinz) on Friday, where he revealed alot as he responded to questions from fans. The hashtag was #AskBanye

When asked why he went missing in action after releasing a street banger like Chorkoh, he responded that when he released Chorkoh, he was 19years old, in a quest to raise big money to invest in his career, he got into trouble with forces of law and got locked up in the New Bell Prison in Douala for 7months.

After his exit from jail, he had to put himself together. That’s why he went missing in action.

On rapping in pidgin(Mboko rap) he mentioned that Jovi is the reason why he raps in pidgin, because Jovi gave pidgin swag.

He mentioned that his favourite rapper is Ngoma.

On his upcoming projects, he revealed that he has an EP coming up later this year, with six tracks and one collaboration with Mic Monsta.
