DELPHINE SIRRI known by her artistic name SIRRI SIRRI is a Cultural singer, fashion designer, actress, and philanthropist who has been helping the orphans and windows in her community and still aspiring to do more.
SIRRI SIRRI hails from the North West Region of Cameroon precisely Bafut and has been into music since 2011. The cultural advocate, as a teenager belonged to a kid’s cultural dance group known as “musheinkegh” by the Bafut people where she drew her inspiration and developed an interest in entertainment.
The award-winning artist who won the 2013-2014 CRTV AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE as the best female artist in North West ( Bamenda)started her music career as a gospel and a traditional singer but later travel out of the country for more exposure. She Stopped singing for some time and later came back in 2020 more stronger and determined.
SIRRI SIRRI believes Cameroon culture is being neglected since the youths turn to focus more on foreign cultures and forget their origin, beliefs, and practices hence, the need for her to stand up and preach culture through music.
Her goal is to elevate the cultural values of her people and urge especially the young generation to embrace their culture, go back to their roots, stop emulating foreign culture, and sell their own culture to the world.
SIRRI SIRRI thinks she’s achieving her goal because she’s been working back to back and people are appreciating and loving what she’s doing.
