Discover Cameroonian Artist; CoolKid Berka

COOLKID aka Nguimatio Berka Pavel Roch is a Cameroonian rap artiste in his early 20?s who started his career in 2010 as a song writer and a performing artiste who was before then writing songs for friends and other  artistes.

In 2011, COOLKID started writing and rapping as a solo artiste, where he later with two other guys (Trilby and Beat Baler) created a group and called it ?BMK? (Bad Music Kills). Later that same year, he did a cover for Nigerian rap female artiste,Splash (Church Agbasa).

Coolkid is currently working on other songs to be released soonest this December, apart from his hit song ?seriously? produced by Beat Baller and recorded at No Hitz No
 Recordz Entertainment.
Working with a lot of other artistes and producers like Arre, Jay Mily, A.C.E, Rich B, De Promiz, BeatBaler, Dijay Karl, DraeBoii and MKA; COOLKID has made himself through different musical phases like the Bonga Face Off finals, Kamer Artist Night (Las Vegas), Moly 237 (Footprint) and a lot more.
Music for the young lad is an inborn passion which he developed back when he was still in High School, since it gave him the calmness and liberation he needed.
His admiration for other artists like Macklemore, Big Sean, Ice Prince and Drake gave him the zeal and motivation to pursue a career in music.

Whilst looking up to these artists, COOLKID realized music was the best way of passing on a message to the public, so he uses the medium to do so. His inspiration is from God, societal issues as well as from his experiences in his music career and a desire to be somebody great in the music world, especially urban rap music. COOLKID?s rap style and lyrical punch has been described by many as a new beginning for rap in Cameroon.
His first video titled ‘Seriously’ was released by his record label, CIM Records, months ago and it is already topping charts on Trace Urban and other media outlets.

In 2016, fans can expect more great music, dope videos, and collaborations from Coolkid Berka.
