The driver of the bus involved in the ghastly car accident which occurred in Efok, Obala in the Center region is no where to be found.
The Minister of Transport Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe, said the tragic incident which claimed nine lives and left 25 others wounded was caused by over speeding and the recklessness of the driver.
Sop Wembe Bruno as his names were gotten, had an entire family on board who were heading to Bangou in the West region from Yaounde, for the funeral of a relative. 18 of the passengers were from the household, two died in the October 13 accident, reports indicate.
The driver of the coaster had tried to overtake two vehicles but unfortunately collided with an oncoming truck that was carrying sand.
Wembe Bruno’s driver’s license has been suspended, while investigations are being carried out.
