Yong Sports Academy Bamenda grabbed a 2-0 win over Panthere on matchday 9 of the 2022 Elite One Championship, to regain the fine form they had displayed since the start of the current season till the eighth day of play. They lost matchday 8 to five-time Cameroon Champions Union Sportive of Douala.
Emmanuel Tengemo and Yuh Moses’s goals on Wednesday, handed YOSA’s recovery victory at the Olembe annex stadium, following their first loss of the season in the previous game against the Nasser Gämakai.
So far, the Yellow Submarines are having a better season than sister club and 2020 Champions PWD Bamenda. David Pagou and his squad are yet to get a victory after three straight unsuccessful games.
The Abakwa Boys lost against Eding on day 7, after which they have only got to record draws with UMS Loum, and most recently against Renaissance FC.
