Coton Sport of Garoua and Bamboutos of Mbouda, are this year’s finalists of the Cameroon Cup.
The two teams booked their places after emerging victorious in the semi-finals against Union Sportive of Douala and Avion Academy respectively, on Sunday.
Coach Gabriel Haman’s side eased past co-six-time winners the Nassara Kamakai, in a two-nil victory at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium, with goals from forward Patient Wassou and defender Yousouffa Houzaifi.
The Mangwa Boys obtained a similar result against Avion Academy at the Reunification Stadium in Douala.
It should be noted that both Coton Sport and Union Sportive were making second straight appearances at the Cameroon Cup semi-finals.
The Garoua Boys lost to Astres FC last year, while Union of Douala were defeated by PWD of Bamenda, who went on to win their first ever Cameroon Cup title.
