The eighth President of the Fifth Republic of France Emmanuel Macron, has set foot on Cameroonian soil following President Paul Biya’s invitation.
Emmanuel Macron was received at the Nsimalen International Airport, Monday night, July 25, by Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute who was representing the Head of State.
The PM was accompanied by other State officials including Minister of External relations Le Jeune Mbella Mbella as well as the French Ambassador to Cameroon Christophe Guilhou.
After brief talks with the Prime Minister at the Presidential Lounge of the Nsimalen International Airport, the French President took off for the Hilton Hotel, where he will spend the night ahead of a busy schedule the following day.
Emmanuel Macron will be meeting with President Paul Biya for the fourth time.
