Government says calling English speaking regions ‘Anglophone regions’ is a WRONG!

The Minister of Youth Affairs and civic education, released a statement on the 20th of July, urging his subordinates in the ministry to stop calling the English speaking regions of CameroonAnglophone zones‘ as per strict instructions from hierarchy. He reminded them that the official names designated for those portions of the country are ‘North West region‘ and ‘South West region‘ and calling them ‘Anglophone zones‘ is strictly forbidden. see the statement:
