The Cameroon women’s senior handball team will take part in the World Women’s Handball Championship next year, following their qualification for the semi-finals of the AWHC taking place in Dakar.
The Lionesses defeated DR Congo 23-22, in the quarter-finals of the 25th African Women’s Handball Championship.
They play the semis on Thursday, 17 November, against Congo.
13 nations converged on Dakar for this year’s tournament. The competition started on November 9, and is to end nine days from the kick-off date.
