Interview with Manlikeclix Founder of “League of Gentleness”

Cameroonian fashion has had its fair share of makeovers over the years that both seasoned and rookie fashion players have experienced.
The country has had a couple of fashion events such as the FIAFA, Cameroon Fashion Awards, Cocowols Fashion Festival, K Walk, Miss Cameroon, to mention a few. Most of these events have been, however, championed by female styles and beauty pageantry. Very little has been done for men’s fashion.
This time around, Gwei Noel Yengong A.K.A Manlikeclix, has created League of Gentleness (LOG) for men, fashion designers, and fashion stakeholders to showcase their styles and fashion craze. Hotel Akwa Palace in Douala will host Cameroon’s first-ever League of Gentleness on Saturday 29, February 2020 from 3 PM.
The event will provide a unique fashion showcase experience for participants to discover new trends and talent in the country’s fashion industry. League of Gentleness (LOG) will also create an opportunity for fashion enthusiasts and practitioners to showcase Cameroon’s rich fashion heritage.
The world will “have another view of fashion after this event,” Manlikeclix told Mimi Mefo Info. According to the fashion mogul, there will also be a special prize for “Best Dressed Man” and “Best Dressed Woman.”
Gwei Noel is a fashion consultant and business mogul who has put an insightful effort to initiate League of Gentleness. He created League of Gentleness in an effort to expose a modern-day elegant Africa and to showcase Cameroon’s fashion enthusiasts, wellbeing practitioners, and designers.
“I created LOG to emphasize to the world of Cameroon’s fashion style,” Noel told us in an exclusive interview.
LOG will expose hidden Cameroonian talented self-represented young men and women who love to take care of their presentation as well as stylists, brands, and well-being practitioners.
We urge you to attend LOG to experience a new sense of fashion and style. A unique way to present yourself and also to learn about self-care.
The next edition of LOG will be December 2020. L.O.G will move from region to region, starting with Douala and Yaounde.
