Jean Pierre Bidjoka has assumed responsibilities as new Deputy General Manager of Cameroon Water Utilities Corporation, (CAMWATER).
He was placed in charge of the corporation on Monday 18 December 2017 in Douala, during an extra-ordinary Board meeting to replace Felix Ngonpa, in an effort geared at improving the falling corporation.
Cameroon authorities are still to find both the human and technical solutions to solve the persistent water crisis in the country.
The Minister of Water Resources and Energy, Basil Atangana kouna installed the new Deputy GM Jean Pierre Bidjoka into his functions, emphasising that the 59 years old has as mission to remedy the crisis faced by the Corporation in providing water to Cameroonians.
It is worth mentioning that Cameroon Water Utilities Corporation (CAMWATER) has changed three General Managers in one year, yet no concrete solution has been achieved to solve the water crisis witnessed in many big cities in the country.
