Barcelona striker Lionel Messi has agreed a contract extension which will keep him at the club until 2021, BBC reports.
The contract extension has a buy-out clause likely to rise to €300million (£264m) according to reports, and the forward will earn £500,000-a-week.
The 30-year-old, who joined Barca aged 13, will sign the deal when he returns to training from pre-season.

Messi had left Barca supporters nervously trying to read the signs coming out of his camp as his current deal was allowed to run down to June 2018.
But that wait is finally over with the player ready to tie his future to the club. The new contract will run until 2021, with the option of an extra year.
“The club is very happy with the renewal and commitment of Messi, the best player in history,” BBC quoted the La Liga club in a statement.
Messi has “led the team to an era of extraordinary success, the likes of which has never been seen in world football”. The statement added.
The Argentina forward has scored a club-record 507 goals in 583 matches since his competitive debut in 2004.
He is also La Liga’s record scorer on 349 goals.
