It was all glitz and glamour at the shopping mall in Buea these past few days from the 12-14th May, as models, designers, makeup artists, photographers, artistes, media personalities and fashion enthusiasts came in their numbers to celebrate fashion. The event saw several talented Cameroonian designers showcase their craft; Mareta West, Nuvi Creation, Camara designs, P&P Couture, Afrik Fashion Trend, Valfara designs, Ama couture and several others. Guests and designers came from all regions of Cameroon, South Africa and Chad. It was a memorable fashion event. Reneta Ndisang; a young Cameroonian fashion designer, who is also the mastermind behind the Buea fashion week announced that there will be a second edition of the event in November.
