Gah-Ndo Ashuembom Amabo, born March 18, 1991 and known as Gasha, is an Afro-pop and afrobeats soul singer from Cameroon. She rose to prominence in October 2013 with her first single ”Kaki Mbere”.
With a smooth voice that goes well with melodies and musical symphonies, Gasha is a multi-style talent capable of bathing in Afro pop, Afro beat, soul and Cameroonian rhythms. After his famous title ”Kaki mbére”, followed “The date“. His participation in the Guinness Cameroon Black project featuring Stanley Enow on the title “Black im“, and his collaboration with Ugandan star Eddy Kenzo on Chill in 2015, are great opportunities that have increased his notoriety. With a great career taking shape in a rather cool way, Gasha decides right after to settle in the USA to deepen his knowledge in the musical field.
She hasn’t slept much on her laurels because in 2016, although still in the states, she made a comeback with the titles ”Ma kong wa” and ”This life” (remix), both made there. Not having had the expected success, Gasha decided to return to his land… Back home, Gasha will notice the evolution of the game and will try to catch up by collaborating with Nabil 4 real (Host & rapper ) via their single ”We still dey” in 2017, then a solo single titled ”Back to reality”; followed by ”Murder” which went unnoticed and ”Back to life” in 2018 which will come out with 42,000 views on YouTube. Several months later, she will make another rather sensational comeback this time with her title ”The best”,
Gasha then decided to wander into a new world through his comeback via two singles like ”Diamonds” and ”Blow” in order to make the Kamers salivate. She remains true to herself, even if she is not yet sufficiently understood by most Cameroonian music lovers; reason why she made a new comeback through the title “Fake love” some time later.
In 2014, she received the award for Best Female Artist for Central Africa at the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) in Dallas, Texas. Later, she collaborated with the Miss Africa USA pageant for the “Women Will Change Africa” campaign and soundtrack.
