Minister Atanga Nji rejects dismissal of PCRN founder

The Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji, has rejected the dismissal of the PCRN founder Kona Robert.

This comes after the disciplinary committee of the Cameroon Party for National Reconciliation through the Secretary General, Boubakari Massardine, announced the decision to expulse the politician.

Minister Atanga Nji’s message via a communique dated March 27, opposed the decision taken on grounds that the PCRN founder had violated the party’s statutes.

Kona Robert founded the party in 2003, and served as president until 2019 when Cabrel Libii took over.

The party is among the top four political groups in Cameroon. The current series of events are happening at a time when the presidential election is coming up in 2025.
