No actor allowed to work with movie producer Adanma Luke following death of actor Junior Pope – AGN

The Actor’s Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has taken a number of measures following the boat accident the killed Nigerian actor John Paul Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope and four others.

The official announcement of the actor’s death came after several twists in the story from the time the boat that carried him and four others to a movie location, capsized on their return on Wednesday, April 10.

In the chain of events, information had been circulated of his survival after he was initially reported dead. The confirmation of his demise came after several attempts to keep him alive.

Among the measures taken by the Actor’s Guild, all films that involve riverine areas and boat riding “are suspended indefinitely”.

Actors have been asked not to work with Adanma Luke, the producer of the movie that was being shot, “Another Side of Life”, till further notice.

Thursday, April 11, has also been declared a no-shoot day across Nigeria.
