No expense spared in marketing of Ngannou – Fury fight

The sculpted images of WBC heavyweight champion and professional boxing debutant Francis Ngannou erected in London, have augmented the excitement of fans ahead of the Riyadh event on October 28.

The two fighters have been immortalized with giant 3 metres tall statues beside the Tower Bridge in London.

“Carve my name in stone. Immortalized in London” Ngannou wrote on TikTok, as he shared a video of the statues.

While some fans have been concerned about the money lavished on the installed sculptures, a promo song titled “Pepper” made for the fight in Saudi Arabia, has equally been trending.

The song which features American rapper Lil Baby, record producer Skrillex, and British rapper Flowdan, accumulated over 150 million views just 24 hours after its release.

It will be Francis Ngannou’s first boxing match and will be watched by a worldwide audience. Many have tipped Tyson Fury as the favourite.
