After the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon won the match with Libya on Sunday the 8th of Sept that led them to the final stage of the world cup qualifiers, the 32year old team captain, Samuel Eto’o declared that he was no longer going to play in the National Team. The coach, Volker Finker, has not made any statement yet. Jean Makoun, Cameroonian midfielder says he is not sure that the decision is definite. The Legendary Cameroonian Striker, Roger Milla says that Eto’o retirement declaration is due to the ‘ridiculous’ management of the National Team and that he is using that declaration to convey a message to the authorities…We hope so oh! Papa Eto’o has pulled a stunt like this before, using his indespensability to foster change in the National Team and it worked, momentarily tho’, and he came back. I hope it works again this time, indefinitely.Cameroonians world wide don’t want to believe it because we know Papa Eto’o can not bail out on us when we are only a month away from qualifying for the World Cup…
