The Minister of State, Secretary-General at the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, has announced that the Head of State Paul Biya, has given his accord for the 2020-2021 Cup of Cameroon final to be played.
According to the communique signed by Ngoh Ngoh, the game pitting PWD Bamenda against Astres FC will be played on Sunday 13 March, at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium from 3:00 pm.
“The Head of State will be represented at the Cup of Cameroon final, by the Prime Minister, Head of Government” the document indicates.
This comes after a long wait by the two finalists, who had been in uncertainty for over 8 months.
Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh’s release has also stated that the launching of the 2021-2022 National Football Championship will be held on Wednesday 16 March.
