After seven years on the popular gossip entertainment show Phat Joe has left Real Goboza. It’s not because he was a judge on Idols SA this week in fact, the producers of the show had nothing but great things to say about its longest serving host.
“Phat Joe has been a valuable member of the Real Goboza family and an excellent driver on our journey of entertaining South Africans. His professionalism, insight and engaging character kept our viewers glued to their screens. We wish him all the best.” – Sydney Mekgwe, the show’s producer.
Phat Joe also shared that he is most grateful for the opportunity that was given to him by the SABC and said:”Thank you to all the fans for the opportunity. I had a lot of fun! Most importantly thank you to the entire RGB team. I will see you all in the near future. Watch this space.”
