Cameroon’s Head of State Paul Biya, has authorized the recruitment of 2500 young Cameroonians into the Police Force.
This information made public in a press release signed by the Delegate General for National Security, Martin Mbarga Nguele, indicated that the recruitment has to do with a direct competitive examination for young Cameroonians who are not part of the civil service, and wish to integrate the Police Force.
There are four grades under which interested persons can apply. These include; Superintendents of Police, Assistant Superintendents of Police, Police Inspectors and Police Constables.
For Cadet Superintendents of Police, 50 places are available. Applicants of both sexes must be of Cameroonian Nationality, and aged at least 17 or 30 years at most by January 1, 2022.
100 places are available for Assistant Police Superintendents of the aforementioned age interval, meanwhile, for the Inspector of Police grade, 40 young people between 17 and 28 years are needed.
About 1,750 openings have equally been created for the grade of Police Constables who must be aged between 17 and 27 years.
Submission of documents is scheduled from November 30, 2021, at all Regional Delegations of National Security.
