Popular Radio station in Bamenda; Radio Hot Cocoa, just got temporarily suspended for talking about the Anglophone problem of Cameroonians in Southern Cameroon.
According to news anchor; Prince Nfor Hanson Nchanji of Equinoxe TV; the SDO of Mezam Songa Pierre led a delegation to Radio Hot Cocoa on Tuesday the 10th of January 2017 by 4:40PM and sealed the doors of the radio for allegedly practicing in an unethical manner.
That their program ‘Biggest Breakfast Show’ is fueling the crisis in Bamenda. The Manager; Gideon Taka has called the National Communication Council and Peter Essoka has reportedly promised to be in Bamenda tomorrow to solve the issue today.
The communication delegate for the North West region; Dr Louis Marie Begne says the media needs to be watchful in the types of programs broadcasted during this period which can incite violence and hatred.
