With two projects out already in just three years of doing music, Bwoy Dezz is determined to unite reggae dancehall artists across Cameroon, and make the music genre well known to the population.
He is one of the very few young artists doing reggae dancehall music in Cameroon, and is playing a significant role in building a “rasta” community, in the West African country.
“Being one of the few youths in Cameroon taking reggae dancehall music to another level. You know that has always been my dream, and we haven’t started yet. 237 dancehall reggae revolution is still to start, whereby we want to reunite every reggae dancehall music artist so that we can have a big movement.”
Bwoy Dezz adds that “reggae dancehall music is going to take over in 237. I feel great to be part of the pioneers. I feel grateful and I give thanks to the most high”.
In his songs, the singer passes messages aimed at addressing societal ills, political/religious deception “I came out with the ‘Revival’ EP in 2021, and this year 2022, I came out with the SURVIVAL Album, which is talking about the sufferation, emancipation, liberation, societal ills, getting success, political/religious deception, and African unity” the ‘Dancehall Buffalo Soldier’ explains.
Bwoy Dezz hails from Kumbo, in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. He has been doing music for three years and is determined to make himself a household name in the Cameroon music industry.
