On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, the Chairman of the African Union Commission; Moussa Faki Mahamat, the Secretary-General of La Francophonie; Louise Mushikiwabo and the Secretary General of the Commonwealth; Patricia Scotland, met with President Paul Biya in the Unity Palace to hold discussions focused on the socio-political and security crisis in Cameroon.
At the end of this meeting at the Unity Palace in Yaoundé, the three heads of international organizations, declared to the press their will to work for the resolution of the socio-political crisis in Cameroon.
But according to credible sources who participated in the high-level meeting at the Unity Palace, President Paul Biya’s three guests advised him not to organize the legislative and municipal elections in the current conditions.
They advised him to amend the electoral code before the organization of new elections.
They advised him dialogue with the separatists.
And they offered their assistance if need arises.
