Multinational betting company; 1XBET, have signed a 2 year brand Ambassador deal with Cameroonian born prolific former footballer and all-time best striker; Samuel Eto’o.
The contract signing took place yesterday 26th of May 2023 at the Starland hotel in Yaoundé, in the presence of press men and women.
The General Manager of 1XBET Cameroon; Mr. Stevens Rodrigue Nbienou Kouadjo, said Samuel Eto’o is a perfect match and Brand Ambassador for the company because he is a sportsman, that has represented the country, and is still representing the country, in the domain of sports, especially as he is the president of the Cameroon Football federation(FECAFOOT).
He said with Samuel Eto’o’s influence the brand will gain more visibility both at national and international levels.
From Rigobert Song as their Brand Ambassador, and now Samuel Eto’o, the General Manager said Rigobert Song’s time with the company ended over a misunderstanding between him and the betting company.
The General Manager underlined the importance of this partnership in supporting football development and straightening 1xbet’s charity programs.
With Eto’o being known for his work in helping the underprivileged children with access to education and sporting facilities through his own foundation, they intend to use his fame to influence and further promote sports and encourage youths to follow their dreams.
