The Chairperson of the electoral board in Cameroon, Enow Abrams Egbe, has urged all stakeholders involved in the organization of the upcoming senatorial elections in the country, to ensure the massive participation of electors.
He was speaking at the first full session of the board on January 18, in the run-up to the March 12 elections.
“I insist on the sensitization and education of the electors. This is a strategic phase” Enow Abrams said.
“All levers must be activated and oriented towards the success of the election, in order to ensure inclusion, transparency, regularity and sincerity” the Chairman said.
The next preparatory session for the elections comes up in two weeks, three days to the publication of the provisional list of candidates.
