This is how the Douala International Airport would look like after renovations are completed:

The French Development Agency is investing 25 billion frs into the Douala International Airport for renovations to occur. The video above shows how the Airport will look like after the renovation is complete. The work is scheduled to take 24 months.

The work will be in two Phases:
Phase A aims to achieve an annual capacity of at least 2 million passengers, the creation of a new jetty (10,000 m²), the centralization of the inspection-screening station, the creation of the commercial area in a reserved space, as well as the renovation of part of the existing building.

Phase B concerns design/construction services aimed at achieving an annual capacity of 2.5 million passengers. It would include the addition of more equipment.
