UB student Ekale Adele begins journey to eternity on Saturday

The mortal remains of Ekale Adele Elise, 24, will be laid to rest on Saturday 14 July 2017 in Buea.
Adele, a final year student in the department of Linguistics in the University of Buea was discover dead in the night of Tuesday 27 June 2017, (three days after she went missing), beside their family residence lying face down in a bush near the road.
She was reported missing on Sunday June 25 2017, after she left home in the evening and did not return.
At the time her dead body was discovered, Adele was still putting on the “Kaba” she wore when she was last seen, and speculations are high that she was murdered.
Her mortal remains was deposited at the Muyuka hospital mortuary, where it will be removed tomorrow at 9:00 am and conveyed to Buea for church service and burial.
Police in Buea opened investigations to ascertain the cause of Adele’s death, and a man named Betchem Armel Ghizlain was apprehended by the Buea Council Police on June 29 and handed over to Government security officers
Amel was identified as the prime suspect who strangled Adele to death, before dumping her lifeless body a few metres from the victim’s home at the Bakweri town neighborhood in Buea.
While in detention, he revealed that he has known Ekale Adele for five years and they have been dating for a year.
