According to CRTV, the construction work needed in the University of Bamenda campus to accommodate the upcoming University games 2017, has commenced and is already 50% gone.
The construction work includes: renovation of existing sports infrastructure, the construction of new walls, a gymnasium, a table tennis hall and extension of water and electricity supply network.

The University of Bamenda is six years old, and is expected to host about 6000 participants in the University games 2017, from Universities all over Cameroon.
Well, maybe the government should focus on solving the political issue at hand, and making the strike end, so students can go back to school, before thinking about the University games…
