The friendship and closeness between Usain Bolt and the Late Germaine Mason was so precious that the Sprinter champion took part in every activity that involved the funeral of his late friend.
Spotted last friday digging his friend’s grave in Long Road, the champion was also a pallbearer at the friend’s funeral.

Mason who died on April 30th in a motor bike clash was laid to rest yesterday May 21st. The funeral was held at the Hagley Park Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kingston where his body was later on buried in Long Road, Portland.

Uncontrollable tears could be seen streaming down the champion’s eyes as he wept for the departure of his friend. Among him were other Olympic champions like Kurt Gardener, Michael Frater and Nester Carter who also served as Pallbearers.
