It has been an extremely challenging World Championship for the Volleyball Lionesses, who are just from losing their fourth game of the tournament to Puerto Rico.
A win in game four was to be Cameroon’s fading chance of making it to the next round, despite the odds.
Now, their 0-3 loss against Puerto Rico means hopes of staying in the competition have immensely dwindled away.
So far, the Lionesses have recorded the same deplorable score against all four opponents faced. It was the same 0-3 loss against Italy on Day 1, followed by the Netherlands’ bashing, and then the loss to Kenya.
Cameroon will take on Belgium this Sunday, October 2, for the fifth and final day of the first round of the competition.
The Championship is co-hosted by Netherlands and Poland. It started on September 23 and will end on October 15.
